Great Force is Quality - Find Out More
the GREAT FORCE process

In pursuit of a quality, durable system that takes less time to build, Great Force has developed a system that is far superior in strength when compared to conventional block houses, with quality built into every step of the process and designed to be more aesthetically pleasing. The Great Force system is engineered to comply with the certification requirements of Agrèment SA, and is in accordance with SABS and NHBRC norms and standards.

Step 1

The wall panels have been designed by a Professional Structural Engineer to SABS 0100:1992 requirements.

Step 2

The panels are flat cast, on site, to ensure quality control. The panels are cast using a 30MPa at 28 day concrete mix design.

Step 3

All electrical wiring and plumbing pipes are cast into position, eliminating the need to chase and plaster the walls.

Step 4

The windows and door frames are cast into the walls.

Step 5

The desired pattern (brick or stone) is achieved by shallow imprint into the wet concrete.

Step 6

At the site, the foundations are designed and certified by a Structural / Geotechnical Engineer and are cast to specified tolerances.

Step 7

Under normal environmental conditions concrete sets to achieve a 15MPa compressive strength within 7 days, and the precast panels are ready for tilting and fixing.

Step 8

The wall panels are tilt-lifted into position and are assembled to complete the particular house plan.

Step 9

The structure is painted with a cementitious water based textured paint.

Step 10

A certified roof is then constructed in accordance with SABS 0400: 1987 requirements.

Step 11

Final fittings are completed - including ceilings, plumbing, electrical fittings, installation of kitchen units, cupboards, doors, glazing and tiling.

Step 12

The house is ready for occupation.
